Rabbi Zamir Cohen talks about Gog and Magog, a battle between Xians and Moslems over the city of Jerusalem at the end of days. He says to watch out when Edom (USA) will no longer be friendly to Israel, that is when redemption is very close.
Who is Edom? It is the country that will rule over a kingdom in the north (Babylon), which is today Iraq. That is Edom, or modern day USA.
Even though this video was released several years ago when USA was still an ally of Israel, well today, in 2009, this is no longer true.
Gog will be a president (Nasi in Hebrew, a leader), not a prime minister or king (melech). Even though the battle of Gog and Magog will occur over Jerusalem and in Israel, our Sages predicted more than 2000 years ago that Hashem will bring these nations to revenge against Jewish blood over the millenium, and to finally destroy them at the same time.
The battle of Gog and Magog will only occur after the ingathering of the exiles. The ingathering of the exiles have been occurring in stages.

That is ridiculous claim. I myself translated a few articles on the unique aspect of Hidabroot in that it gets to everyone via a television cable. I can't remember now where the articles appeared. But I also translated a film which was shown at a big dinner in England all about Hidabroots remarkable program and idea. It's also on the Internet for everyone to learn about and in brochures all over the place. The idea is based on a pasuk saying that it is using klei Mitzrayim to defeat the tumah of Mitzrayim. Nothing is hidden, all is open and known.Belz was the first organization to run a baalei teshuva yeshiva --Torah ve'Emunah. The Admor's speech at the opening convention of Degel HaTorah was on the importance of outreach work and he spoke with all his heart.
It's mammesh a ridiculous claim on the part of Amnon Yitzchok. Mah karah lo? I don't think the article i did o the programs was for Hamachne !!!! But is was a public one. Every year they have a large dinner too in London about the program.
I did a lot of the small articles which appear in the Internet website of Hidabroot. Dei'ah ve'Dibbur also has a website put out by Mordechai Plaut of Israeli Yated. Eish HaTorah has a website, so does Ohr Someach. American Yated also re-publishes its articles in Internet. [those i did are under the name of D. Sofer] So that it is common knowledge for all about Hidabroot's televison program. I wanted to put this into Chadrei Chadarim's teguvot section, but don't see how to enter it. I also don't have time now to write this up in Hebrew. Do you think you can forward this to the Chadrei Charidim or another place which appears in Eretz Yisrael, or to Shaya Wind.
